1960s Lundby

I wanted an older Lundby for some of my oldest furniture, and I spotted this one for sale in Sweden.  Shipping cost more than the house, and it needed a bit of TLC, but I love it!  The original wallpapers are fantastic!

Before:
After:
I used colored pencils and was able to recreate most of the design of the living room wallpaper which had somehow been rubbed off by a previous owner.

I recently decided to install lights, but I could not get the electricity to work, and also there were not enough places to plug in lights, so I came up with another solution

Living room.  The throw is hand-crocheted by an Etsy artist!

Alternative setup:

I've changed the bedroom a bit, it now looks like this:

Entrance and bathroom

I was so excited to find the Danish salt and sugar crocks on Etsy.  And the bread slicer is vintage Tekno.

I hung the right wall cabinet using two magnets.  There was already a glue spot where large cabinet went, but I didn't want to damage the wallpaper on the right.  On the back of the wall I have a mirror to hide the magnet.

1980s Lisa of Denmark

The wallpapers in this house are a bit dull, and I recently found an older version of this house I like better, so my plan was to sell this one, but now I'm at the point where I have too much furniture for the other one, and the latest Lisa extension I bought actually matches this one as far as the yellowed front is concerned, so I may end up keeping it - in fact furniture has already found its way in there. In this picture it's sitting on top of a Lundby extension level - it's just a tiny bit wider.

The floors are not original.

It's still not complete, but it's a bit more than just a place to store excess furniture now.

After I was lucky enough to find the rare Lisa children's room set which is now in my older Lisa house, I have moved one of my kitchens into this space:

1980s Hanse

This house keeps changing as I collect more furniture - I have had several different sofa sets in the living room, but this is what it looks like now.  Further down are pictures of what it looked like before:

Bedroom, all Hanse furniture and a Lundby curtain and lamp.

Bathroom - I must glue that towel!!!  Original Hanse units apart from washing machine which is Lundby.  Even the lamp is a Hanse lamp, but part of the metal is missing on it.

Hanse children's room furniture with accessories from all sorts of places.

I love this sunken living room, I'm not sure if this lamp is original Hanse, or just one made by the same company, but regardless it's very cool and identical in shape and design to the ones sold as Hanse.

 Original Hanse stereo and speakers!!!

This is my latest sofa and chairs - I love them even more in real life than when I first saw the photo! Lamp is original Hanse and so is the TV and telephone.

Original Hanse kitchen, I finally got the one with a backsplash that matches the walls in the house.  I just wish the room was a few millimeters wider to fit the fridge on the same wall. Original Hanse lamp.

Same kitchen with a Lisa lamp and no fridge!

OLDER PICTURES:

Dolls in this house are German Hückel.

Hanse lounge chairs

The sofa and coffee table is Lisa, bookcases and TV are Hanse.

Things change all the time - I was lucky to get another two Hanse houses, so I had to borrow some furniture.  The living room now looks like this:

Then I got a Lisa house and needed the green living room set, so now the living room looks like this:

Hanse bed and stools. This bed now lives in one of my latest house purchases, and instead I have put this bedroom set in there which is also Hanse, and I quite like the way it looks in this room:

Hanse kitchen units, Lundby table and chairs

Now I got some Hanse seating:

Previously I had a Lundby kitchen in this house:
I love the green "tiles" in the kitchen.  At first I was going to use the newer, green Lisa kitchen in here, but it doesn't fit.  Wall cabinet is hung with neodymium magnets, one inside the cabinet and one on the back.  I love that I don't have to damage the wallpaper!

Hanse children's furniture.  I borrowed some of the toys for some other rooms as this was looking a bit busy:

Hanse bathtub and toilet. Sink is Lundby.

I got the matching sink unit!!!
